Teen Open Mic
FREE Teens Open Mic, with @writopialab & @yesi_sbookstoreandgiftshop at La Marqueta. A chance for Teens to share/practice/express any form of spoken word performance, in front of a supportive audience of their peers, their family and the community.
Raymond Santana Book Signing
Book signing and Q&A, with author Raymond Santana Jr, of the exonerated Central Park Five, and illustrator, Keith Henry Brown, on their collaboration, PUSHING HOPE, a young adult graphic illustrated memoir, that shows in vivid color, how one can survive by pushing a message of hope.
